The First Album: On the Thirty-First Night

Our first full-length album has arrived: On the Thirty-First Night - the moment when sound steps out of the shadows and becomes flesh. Under the name Liy Lyth, a world is born: a universe forged from hard-rock force, wrapped in gothic atmosphere, and rooted in ancient myth.

This album carries the vibration of creation itself. Music that frees you, shakes you, and awakens the primal spark sleeping beneath your skin. Each track is a gateway - leading you through the echoes of forgotten legends and into the blazing pulse of the present.

The symbolism

On the Thirty-First Night

The title song and album, On the Thirty-First Night, refers to:

1. Night of October 31: Lifting the Veil (Samhain/Halloween)
In spiritual and pagan traditions (such as Celtic culture and modern Wicca), when they say "the 31st night," it almost always refers to October 31.

  • Spiritual Meaning: This is the night of the Celtic New Year (Samhain). It is believed that on this night the veil between the physical world and the spirit beings (the afterlife) is the thinnest.
  • Time of transformation: It is a time to enter the darkness, to turn inward, to honor the ancestors and to let go of the past.

2. The Last Night of the 31-Day Months: "No Man's Land"
In numerology and esotericism, the 31st night of the month represents a kind of liminal (threshold) state.

  • Since the 30-day cycle is the usual and round, the 31st day and night is a kind of "gift time", a transition zone between the end of the old month and the beginning of the new one.
  • Spiritually, this is the perfect time for ritual cleansing, meditation, and letting go. On this night, you close the past (31) so that the next day you can start with a clean slate (1).

3. The Night of December 31: New Year's Eve's Cosmic Gate
Although in the modern world it is all about partying, from a religious and spiritual point of view, the 31st night of the year is one of the most powerful energetic points.

  • Cosmic reckoning: At this time, the collective consciousness of humanity focuses on closure and a new beginning at the same time. This night is a symbol of the rite of passage that originates from Janus (the two-faced god who looks into the past and the future at the same time).

4. Islamic mysticism and the lunar cycles
Although the lunar months of the Islamic (hijri) calendar are only 29 or 30 days long, numerology plays a major role in Sufi (mystical) traditions or certain spiritual retreats (e.g. Khalwa - forty-day solitary meditation). If the 31st night is reached in a spiritual practice, it can signify a new level of ascension, since the numerical value (gematria) of the Arabic letters of the word "Allah" is associated with the mystical unity of the numbers 30 and 1, according to some calculations.
